The two numbers that matter

From Starlink’s specification sheets: the Mini averages 25–40 W on a 12–48 V DC input; the Standard kit averages 75–100 W on mains power. Everything below is arithmetic on those figures.

Sizing, worked honestly

A 40 W average draw is roughly 1 kWh per 24 hours — a modest power bank runs a Mini for hours, and a small solar-plus-battery setup runs it continuously. The Standard kit at ~100 W wants the household inverter-and-battery systems many Sudanese homes and offices already run. These are sizing estimates from the spec-sheet wattages, not guarantees — your installer confirms the final setup.
